Dr. Ji Jiafu is a globally recognized surgeon-scientist specializing in clinical management and translational research of gastrointestinal cancer. His team has pioneered studies related to D2 lymphadenectomy, laparoscopic gastrectomy, perioperative neoadjuvant therapy, and precision diagnosis with AI. These studies have been successfully translated into clinical practice advancements, significantly improving patient survival rates and quality of life in China and globally.
Prof. Ji has published more than 400 research papers as the first or corresponding author, including over 300 in SCI journals such as Cell, JAMA, Lancet, Lancet Oncology, and Science Translational Medicine, and has obtained 30 patents.
