北京大学肿瘤医院(北京肿瘤医院、北京大学临床肿瘤学院、北京市肿瘤防治研究所)始建于1976年,是一所由北京大学、北京市医院管理中心共管的三级甲等肿瘤专科医院。
北京大学肿瘤医院设有36个临床科室,14个医技科室,10个基础研究科室,4个基础平台科室,开放床位801张。全年门诊量75万人次,年收治病人9.6万人次,手术1.7万例。医院职工近2600人,在编职工中正高级职称152人,副高级职称253人。
北京大学肿瘤医院有国家重点学科1个(肿瘤学)、国家临床重点专科2个(肿瘤科、病理科)、北京市重点学科4个(胃癌防治中心、乳腺癌防治中心、影像介入治疗中心、超声诊断中心)、北京市中医管理局重点学科1个(中西医结合科暨老年肿瘤科),全国名老中医药专家传承工作室1个,北京学者工作室2个,是消化系肿瘤整合防治全国重点实验室,分子肿瘤学全国重点实验室(副主任单位)、是恶性肿瘤发病机制及转化研究教育部重点实验室、教育部癌症整合组学前沿科学中心、恶性肿瘤转化研究北京市重点实验室、国家药监局重点实验室所在单位、抗肿瘤新药及新技术研发北京市工程研究中心、北京市国际科技合作基地、北京市首批示范性研究型病房、科技部抗肿瘤新药疗效与安全性评价信息化平台的建设单位。被国家卫健委授予首批肿瘤多学科诊疗试点医院、国家首批肿瘤高通量基因测序临床试点单位;是唯一承担北京地区癌症发病登记与生存统计,并向政府及WHO提供数据的中心。是北京抗癌协会、北京癌症康复会的挂靠和依托单位。
北京大学肿瘤医院现有工程院院士1名、长江学者奖励计划特聘教授2名,自建院以来先后有4人获国家自然科学基金杰出青年、11人获突出贡献专家,42人获政府特殊津贴。现有教授43名、副教授81名、博士研究生导师59名、硕士研究生导师69名。
医院自成立以来,致力于胃癌、乳腺癌、肺癌、结直肠癌、肝癌、食管癌、恶性淋巴瘤、恶性黑色素瘤、泌尿系统肿瘤、妇科肿瘤、头颈部肿瘤、骨肿瘤、软组织与腹膜后肿瘤等各种肿瘤的诊断、综合治疗和转化研究。其中胃癌防治体系方面的研究两次获得了国家科技进步二等奖。
研究所建所以来,在肿瘤学基础理论研究、常见主要肿瘤的临床诊断与治疗、胃癌、食管癌高发区现场的预防干预研究等领域均有创新与领先的成绩,在国内外颇具影响。
北京大学肿瘤医院是全国肿瘤学博士学位授权点和博士后流动站。医学教育涵盖本科生、硕士生、博士生、博士后以及进修生、职工的继续教育。每年定期举办全国临床肿瘤医师进修班和国家继续教育项目全国性学习班。
北京大学肿瘤医院与许多国际知名肿瘤研究机构建立了密切的合作关系,每年不断有国内外专家学者来院参观、考察、讲学,进行科研协作与学术交流。医院也不断有科研、临床、医技专业人员出国访问、进修、短期工作或参加国际学术会议。

Peking University Cancer Hospital
Peking University Cancer Hospital (also referred to as Beijing Cancer Hospital, Peking University School of Oncology, and Beijing Institute for Cancer Research) was founded in 1976 and is co-administered by Peking University and Beijing Hospitals Authority. It is a tertiary A-level hospital specializing in cancer treatment, research, prevention, and medical education.
The hospital has 35 clinical departments,14 medical technology departments, and 10 basic research laboratories. Its current number of beds is 801. It receives around 750,000 outpatient visits, with 96,000 inpatients admitted and 17,000 operations performed annually. The hospital has nearly 2,600 employees, including 152 with professor-level titles and 253 with associate-professor-level titles.
Peking University Cancer Hospital has one National Key Academic Discipline (oncology), two National Key Clinical Specialties (oncology and pathology), four Beijing Municipal Key Academic Disciplines (gastric oncology, breast oncology, interventional radiology, and sonography), and one Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Key Academic Discipline (integrated medicine and geriatric oncology). It is also home to one National Distinguished Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner’s Heritage Office, and two Beijing Scholar’s Offices. It has been designated as the Key Laboratory of Carcinogenesis and Translational Research by the Ministry of Education of the P. R. China and the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, National Medical Products Administration Key Laboratory, Beijing Engineering Research Center for New Anti-Tumor Drug and Technology Research and Development, Beijing International Science and Technology Cooperation Base, Beijing Exemplary Research Ward (first batch), and one of the builders of the information platform for the efficacy and safety evaluation of new anti-tumor drugs of the Ministry of Science and Technology. It is among the first hospitals participating in the National Health Commission’s pilot programs on multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment of cancer and clinical application of tumor high-throughput gene sequencing. It is the only cancer registry center for Beijing, tracking cancer incidence and survival in the capital and providing data to the government and WHO. Beijing Anti-Cancer Association and Beijing Cancer Rehabilitation Society are also supported by the hospital.
Peking University Cancer Hospital has one member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, two Changjiang Scholars Program Distinguished Professors, four winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 11 National Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions, and 42 winners of the Special Government Allowances of the State Council. Of its employees, 43 are professors, 81 associate professors, 59 doctoral supervisors and 69 master supervisors.
Since its establishment, the hospital has been dedicated to diagnosis, comprehensive treatment and translational research regarding gastric cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, esophageal cancer, malignant lymphoma, malignant melanoma, urinary system tumors, gynecological tumors, head and neck tumors, bone tumors, sarcomas, etc. Its research on gastric cancer prevention and treatment system has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award twice.
The research labs have made innovative and leading achievements in the fields of basic theoretical research in oncology, diagnosis and treatment of common tumors, and preventive intervention research in high-incidence areas of gastric and esophageal cancer, which have considerable influence on the oncology landscape both at home and abroad.
Peking University Cancer Hospital is a national doctoral degree conferring unit and a postdoctoral research mobile station in the discipline of oncology. It offers medical education for undergraduates, graduate programs (master’s and doctoral level), postdoctoral research opportunities and continuing education for employees and visitors. The hospital holds the National Clinical Oncologist Advanced Course and the National Medical Continuing Education Program Nationwide Training on a yearly basis.
